We are birthed into the physical world by way of our bodies. The precise moment of our birth is the unique crescendo of mind, body, and soul coming together to experience life as a witness to Mother Earth. We are welcomed into this world with a name and an identity that we are introduced to as “ourselves”. We are told who we are, where we live, what we do, and how to operate in the world we now live in.
We are given rules despite there being no game. We are given a path despite the absence of a collective goal. We are given expectations despite there being no consideration for curiosity.
It can be confusing to operate in a state that we are told we are free but feel the scrutiny and judgement alchemized as punishment when we do liberate ourselves on a singular path. The perplexity, jealousy, and ache to do the same is projected back to us as a decree of outcasting.
This, among many other layers of energy and trauma, can hold us back from being inspired and forging our own path. It’s easier to criticize the crusaders and stay in complacency than it is to dive into your own depths to draw your deepest desires out and construct the means to your own path. Because, to do so means to show up in your current world with friction–to stop yourself in the current that is flowing with all you know, all you're comfortable with, and all you have built–and get out. Or, at least, adjust. It requires us to stand up in all we have built to shift directions, and start building in more alignment with our desires. But we must first be connected and aligned with our desires–are we able to discern the desires of our higher self from the desires of outside validation and the need to be recognized?
This catalyst of internal discord demands us to lean into what has been stirring within you that you have met with resistance. It entails welcoming the vulnerable parts of you with love and support and seeing how those desires can be weaved into a slightly different version of day-to-day life to honor the unprotected pieces of you being brought to the light. But most importantly, it is asking us to bring new stability to our heart space to give a hospitable place for these desires to come to life and thrive in. A space that might not be the one we were born into, but one we have a birthright to create.
It’s an exposed moment that we need to take a leap from the facade of stability we have grown comfortable in, to the stability of true wholeness that might be completely foreign to us.
The upcoming Full Moon is telling us that to arise in our own wholeness, to create our own harmony, requires friction, courage, and action. The outset of Libra season has emphasized the Law of Polarity, prodding us to bring harmony into our lives only by bringing its opposite into our lives: friction. Harmony doesn’t show up in our world like the singing birds in Snow White ready to assist us with the daily monotony of our responsibilities. It shows up when we find the courage to pull ourselves up by our boot straps to create the life and the harmony living in our coveted desires. Just as every contraction brings an expansion… Every time of friction, leads way to a time of harmony.
The Aries Full Moon arrives on Saturday, September 26th at 12:50PM EST as if we ordered it up like a tall glass of refreshing encouragement, with a sidecar of spicy authority. The first sip of the seasonal elixir opens your senses to the confidence, perseverance, and energy waiting to be consumed in this illuminated Aries energy. It’s ready to push you into action that is protected with a new composure and a new faith that you desperately were hoping to have access to throughout this year.
When the seasons shift and the energies shift, the way we hold ourselves is also asked to shift–the cup that we hold our truest selves in must be assessed. Is the cup that held me through last season the cup that will hold me through this season? Hindsight will always give us a clear picture, and we might see that the cup meant to hold us last season barely kept our contents contained through the highs and lows of Virgo season. Whatever it was used to hold us last season didn’t keep our intentions aligned or actions grounded in the way we hoped.
Aries and Libra come together to help us see that we need a cup that has more quiet strength and humble authority. A sacred space that can support us enough to hold our strength in the hushed moments of hardships. And, a sanctuary for our temperament and boundaries to find an unassuming jurisdiction that lets us move through each day with more stability of self. Together, they bring us a chalice, meant to be held with more leadership of our own life so that we can lead with more wholeness.
It becomes easy to recognize where the Moon is guiding us to create more wholeness in our lives as the Moon waxes into its full state. Its illumination spotlights the areas of our life that also need growth and light.
The energy of this Full Moon focuses on the relationship with yourself and how you can bring that into wholeness, but the Law of Polarity prominently showing up with the Libra season energy solicits us to balance that by also bringing our relationships with others into wholeness. We can go into this season of harvest with intentional social calendars and intentional self-care schedules–have we been too social? Have we hermitted too much? Are we finding ways to replenish our internal world? Have we been investing in the wrong relationships? Do we need to water the relationships that have withered?
Earlier this week the Fall Equinox showed us how to create harmony, now it’s time to let the Full Moon push us into action. When the pressure of this Full Moon feels too heavy, just remember that the Aries birthstone is a diamond. It’s okay to let the pressure get to you 💎

CEREMONY: A Gratitude Gathering
The Sun and the Moon are constantly moving through a circular dance, permitting each of their phases and seasons to cross over one another like complementary wheels in spiral art. When we enter a new Sun season, there is a rotating rhythm to which phase of the Moon kicks off the season, adding a little flare to how these energies alchemize into our lives.
The Sun entered the sign of Libra on Tuesday, September 22, which means this Full Moon is the first Moon phase to lead the Sun’s new season.
During Full Moons, we typically take stock of how far we have come, illuminate ourselves to our fullest, and harvest what we have invested our time and energy into. To do that, we celebrate how far we have come, celebrate our shadow and inner world, and celebrate the harvest we are grateful for. The Full Moon always brings us back to celebration rooted in gratitude.
Having this Full Moon celebration lead the Sun’s season invites us to expand our celebration into the themes of the season itself. And since Libra Season arrives alongside the Fall Equinox, the ritual that feels most aligned here is a Gratitude Gathering.
Who? You, your family, your friends, your neighbors—whoever you feel like inviting.
What? A dinner gathering centered around gratitude and the harvest of the season. Make meals with seasonal foods and enchant them with seasonal spells.
Where? Your favorite place to gather and celebrate.
When? Thursday 9/24 – Monday 9/28.
Why? To celebrate the changing seasons, the abundance opening up to you in the darkness, and the internal harvest from the intentional healing and growth this year has bestowed upon you.
How? With food, family, fun, joy, laughter, games, flowers, candles, crystals, cards, divinity—bring all the worlds together! Light red and dark purple colors for the season. Make it sacred. Make it joyful. Make it yours ✨
🌕👀 I’ll be sharing mine in IG on Saturday 9/26. Follow @philosophy.of.intuition and share your gathering celebration 🍂
TAROT SPREAD: EMPEROR CARD
The Emperor represents the Father, or the paternal principle of order in our lives. He shows us how to move through life with authority, protection, and stability. He teaches us how to create and operate within a sovereign law of our own, while also asking us to examine our relationship with the structures and laws we have inherited.
The Emperor is a true Arien, revealing to us that with new life, new starts, and new beginnings can emerge the stability of a thriving ecosystem. He honors the structures and codes of conduct that allow us to exist together, but also prods us to look beyond them and discover our own personal code of conduct.
What governs your life?
He sheds light on the possibility that a new beginning can also be a sovereign beginning, one rooted in a deeper purpose than the beginnings that came before it.
This spread brings the cyclical energy of the Moon phases together with the wisdom of The Emperor. Instead of looking at one isolated moment, we move through an entire lunar cycle to explore what needs to be released, witnessed, acted upon, and eventually celebrated.
You can center your reading around whatever feels most alive for you right now:
👉If you feel like you don’t have enough structure or action:
How can I find more authority over my decisions?
👉If relationships have taken over too much of your life:
Where do my boundaries need to be adjusted?
👉If you feel stuck without forward motion:
How can I better align myself with my ambitions?
👉If your internal world isn’t matching your external world:
What do I need the courage to face within myself?
Then pull four cards:
Card 1: Last Quarter Moon
What needs to be released?
Card 2: New Moon
What needs to be reflected on in the quiet of my inner world?
Card 3: First Quarter / Waxing Moon
What do I need to begin, act on, or expand my focus toward?
Card 4: Full Moon
What is moving toward celebration, harvest, or fruition?

Journal Prompts
1. Where in my life am I craving a fresh start? Where am I being called to bring more authority, order, or intentional action? What would it realistically look like to begin?
2. Which relationships in my life are asking for stronger or more balanced boundaries? What would help me feel secure enough to honor the boundaries I set?
3. How deeply rooted is my sense of self right now? Where do I feel steady in who I am, and where does my sense of self become easier to disrupt? What would bring me back into greater stability of self?
